Jack C. Vaglia

Jack C. Vaglia is the Founding and Managing Principal of Paint Creek Industries LLC.


Mr. Vaglia leads the firm’s investment strategy, sourcing, transaction execution, and post-close operational value creation efforts. Mr. Vaglia has significant experience in the acquisition, management, and operations of privately held industrial companies. Over the course of his career, he has been involved in more than $2 billion of mergers and acquisitions within the industrial sector.


Prior to founding Paint Creek Industries, Mr. Vaglia was a private equity investment professional with The Sterling Group, L.P. and The Riverside Company. During his time at these firms, Mr. Vaglia worked on the acquisition and operational oversight of founder- and family-owned industrial businesses across the manufacturing, distribution, and services sectors.


Mr. Vaglia began his career in the Industrials Investment Banking group at Houlihan Lokey Capital Inc. (NYSE: HLI), where he advised corporate and private equity clients on mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, and other strategic transactions.


A native of Michigan, Mr. Vaglia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance with Honors from Michigan State University. Mr. Vaglia attended Michigan State University as an Evans Scholar and remains involved with the program as a member of the Leadership Council and Mentorship Program.

Vincent D. Foster

Vincent D. Foster is a Senior Advisor to Paint Creek Industries LLC.


Mr. Foster is the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Main Street Capital Corporation (NYSE: MAIN), a publicly traded business development company that provides long-term debt and equity capital to lower middle-market companies across the United States. Mr. Foster has served as Chairman since the company’s 2007 initial public offering and previously served as Chief Executive Officer from 2007 to 2018 and as President from 2012 to 2015. Following his tenure as CEO, Mr. Foster served as Executive Chairman from 2018 to 2021 and later as a Senior Advisor through 2024, continuing to contribute to the firm’s strategic direction and governance. Since the mid-1990s, Main Street and its predecessor investment partnerships have founded, financed, or invested in more than 200 private companies across a wide range of industries. 


Prior to co-founding Main Street’s predecessor investment partnerships in 1997, Mr. Foster spent 19 years with Arthur Andersen, where he became a Partner in 1988 and led the firm’s Corporate Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions practice for the Southwest United States. In that role, Mr. Foster advised companies on mergers, acquisitions, capital raising, and industry consolidation strategies across a range of sectors.


Mr. Foster has also had an extensive career serving on the boards of publicly traded companies. Most notably, he was a founding director of Quanta Services, Inc. (NYSE: PWR) and served on its board from the company’s 1998 initial public offering through 2025. Quanta Services is a leading provider of specialized infrastructure services supporting the electric power, renewable energy, oil and natural gas, and telecommunications industries. The company provides engineering, procurement, construction, and maintenance services for electric transmission and distribution networks, large-scale renewable generation projects, pipeline infrastructure, and industrial energy facilities. Quanta Services has acquired more than 200 companies since its founding in 1997. 


In addition to his role at Quanta Services, Mr. Foster has served as a director of Carriage Services, Inc. (NYSE: CSV), a provider of funeral and cemetery services across the United States; TEAM, Inc. (NYSE: TISI), a global provider of industrial inspection, maintenance, and repair services; and U.S. Concrete, Inc. (NASDAQ: USCR), a producer of ready-mix concrete and aggregates serving major metropolitan markets in the United States prior to its acquisition by Vulcan Materials Company (NYSE: VMC) in 2021.


A native of Michigan, Mr. Foster holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Michigan State University and a Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School. In 2008, he was recognized with the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the Houston and Gulf Coast region in the financial services category.
